WILD ABOUT HONEY

A wild way to make a living

We didn’t suddenly wake up one day and say we want to become beekeepers.

Beekeeping found us. It was a gradual thing that manifested itself from a love of being outdoors and a youth spent roaming freely, mountain biking, hiking and fishing in the rural landscape of the Dyfi Valley, (mid Wales). This developed into a deep appreciation for our natural surroundings….

SPRING BLOOM HONEY

Produced by our colonies in the vibrant spring bloom of rapeseed flowers and neighbouring hawthorn hedgerows, this Native Honey has an exquisite, elegant smooth flavour.

AUTUMN HEATHER HONEY

Produced by our colonies in wild English & Welsh heather moors, this Native Honey is a heady mix of intense earthy flavours with a caramel like sweetness.

SUMMER WILDFLOWER HONEY

Produced by our colonies in the summer abundance of multi-floral varieties, brambles, clover, chestnut & lime trees, this Native Honey is beautifully balanced with sweet and tangy notes.

STARFLOWER HONEY

Produced by our colonies in the fragrant borage fields of the South East, this Native Honey has a delicate sweet-scented flavour.

WILD ABOUT THE TASTE

Native

TO THIS LAND

It's MAD that so much 'British' Honey comes from China!!!

Ours is born in the wilds of the British countryside!!!

FROM THE WILD DIRECT TO YOUR DOOR

You couldn’t be closer to the honey from our hives. We can tell you exactly when it was made and with pinpoint accuracy where the beautiful place was in Britain that it came from. You’ll also taste the difference in our delicious honey because it captures the nature and diversity of every season in its taste.

PROTECTING BRITISH BEES FOR US ALL

We need bees beyond making delicious honey, to pollinate our natural environment and crops. Sadly, wild bee numbers have dwindled due to invasive species, parasites, habitat loss and climate change. All British beekeepers play a vital role by protecting and managing their hives, so they don’t over populate delicate wild eco-systems.

ROAMING WILD ACROSS BRITAIN

Picking the perfect spot for our hives is paramount to the quality of honey that the land will help us to produce. The balance of the natural environment is critical, the hedgerows, wild flowers, crops and meadows define the taste. We travel the width and breadth of Britain to find our bees their heavenly place and when they thrive, we do too.
